i am back to the "I need a new career" phase...dumb little things always bug me...today no exception...sigh...last week my kids were sick and I stayed home - I'm the mom right? Well because of our stupid union rules I dont get paid for it even though I am a full time employee because in a calendar year we cant be sick more than 5 times or we dont get paid...the kicker...we get 1 1/4 days a month of sick time which equals two weeks right...do the math does it make sense? I can't help it if my kids are sick but the fact I dont get paid for it when I do have sick days piled up makes no sense at all.
I seriously have issues with the whole damn thing....and mark my words my new years resolution is to get a new job.
