okay gotta update my blog...I am such a slacker this past month!
so highlights since may 8th...
----> i got 40 ulcers in my eyes <----------
uh yeah.
you read right.
40 ulcers from wearing my contact lenses 15 hours a day for 15 years.
the docs say i was lucky to have caught it in the early stages before permanent damage.
that is very scarey.
so i have made a decision to wear my glasses for a year and get lazik surgery next year.
i think i take for granted i have eyesight and with this scare i will never take it for granted again.
yesterday was my birthday.
another year older and i truly believe another year wiser.
i love life.
if i had to make a wish when i was blowing out my candles (if i had a cake lol) i would only wish that i was more of a patient person.
i *wish* i inherited my mothers patience.
two more sleeps.
until i am in winnipeg watching INXS from the fourth row!! *strating to hyperventilate*

okay sorry back to regularly scheduled programming...I will have lots to say when I get back sunday night!!

Hope you had a fantastic birthday girl!!!! Do tell me more about this eye thing...I'm thinking about getting contacts again, but if that is a risk..maybe I'll just stick to the good ol' glasses!!! So glad you caught it in time!!!

Happy belated from another May girl! Ooh INXS, I'm jealous - I did see them back in the day with Michael.....sigh....
TAKE CARE OF THOSE EYES!!! I am allergic to the sun, Yep, the sun. And every time I come back from Florida, I have an eye infection and it makes the muscles weaker (I am going blind). (Stop going to Florida, right?) NEVER! But I wear shades and oversized hats when I go out now. So, PLEASE take care of those eyes! Also, I hope you had a fab birthday! Enjoy INXS!
oh boy,,,, this is so scarry.. so glad that you caught it in time... I had lasix a few years ago and it was sooooo worth it!!
