happy happy birthday

Yesterday was Dan's birthday. Since I had to stay home with a sick kid I took the time with the help of my sister and created this huge dinner for him. Omgosh the ham was to die for...melted in your mouth *drool*...you know it was good because my dad who barely eats anything had THREE servings! Now thats a compliment! lol...We also made a hashbrown casserole - very very yummy and our vegetable dish was broccoli, mushrooms and swiss cheese in puff pastry... we have a wide variety of desserts and I think I gained a pound or two last night for sure but it was worth it. My family was over and Dan's mom came over as well...the only thing I have to complain about is my chairs...seriously, my chairs are all falling apart. LOL....I may have to check out boxing day sales for new ones.

My sister and her fiance bought Dan a Texas Poker Hold Em set....I see the losing of my money in the near future....lol...and Dan's mom got him some pampered chef stuff including the wok...that wok is just amazing....I own so much pampered chef stuff and the pans are top quality. The cooking stones are also a must have because they don't burn anything! And I would burn everything without them lol...

Tonight is Mariah's choir performance. She had a recital on Monday with Slightly Off Broadway where she takes her private lessons. She was a little nervous but sang like an angel... here is a photo of her with her singing teacher...!
