People are always saying this time of year is so busy for them. I really don't understand. To me it is like any other time of the year. I am always busy, I always have plans, I always have things that need to be done. So you have to put up a tree and do some shopping...okay...well I buy new plants during the year *and* I shop all the time. I decorate my house for every changing season...I bet you it takes more time to stuff those darn leaf bags with pumpkin faces on them than it does to put up a tree and decorate it!
I do admit I have more events I have to attend. A couple Christmas parties I need to make an appearance at and my daughters choir and singing recitals. But those are just mere hours. It doesn't affect my life to the extent I am saying "Omgosh I am SOOOOOO busy" -- busy would to me mean you have so much to do you can't imagine being caught up or maybe you can't catch up. The holidays...they always catch up on us so whether we are ready or not, they arrive - same time every year. If people find themselves soooooo busy and sooooo stressed then next year....start in September. Time is very manageable...it just takes a moment for a person to stop, take a deep breath and figure out a point on where to start managing it.....
There are 18 days left before Christmas. You don't have to cram Christmas preparations in a day.

Very good advice...you are so right this season comes this time every single year. Yet we all let ourselves get caught off guard.
