The last boy left today at 6:00...overall the party went well. The boys were in bed and sleeping by 12:30 last night which is a lot earlier than I thought they would be awake until. I am so glad they proved me wrong!
The party today at Wired Play was a lot of fun. While the boys played computer games and Dance Dance Revolution, the adults (Dan, Karen, Chris and myself) played Age of Mythology on the computer. I really like that game. Unfortunately you can only get it for a PC and unfortunately my PC is a pile of crap so I won’t be buying it anytime soon. I was so close to conquering the world...lol...I had two minutes left to win because I had built a Wonder Spot but Chris would not give up his undefeated title. He came and slaughtered my poor army and the city I had built!! I’ll get you next time...*insert witch cackle*
Anyhooo....other than that, I think I am pretty tired which makes me a bit irritable and cranky. Yesterday when I left work - like literally one minute before leaving the building, I read something that sort of ticked me off and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. That is such a downfall of mine...I over think things all the time too much and it’s hard for me to just get over it and move on. I read a quote once that I really need to take to heart ~
MAKE YOUR PEACE WITH ALL THAT YOU CAN’T EVER KNOW - AND LET GO.
Or in more simpler terms as Napolean Dynamite would say :
"Forget about it - Gosh!"
My hair...I made a hair appointment because I really thought I was just going to chop it all off. I think I was just having a really bad hair day. My sister thinks I should keep growing it and deep down, I think I know Dan likes my hair longer too. I am going to call and cancel it and see if I can hang on a little longer to my locks.
Oh and the gym...I have made a conscious decision to go back to the gym. Yep, we’ll see how that goes...I’ll keep you posted lol....
