Don't worry about the ribbon & snaps...

Well this past week, I have sort of gotten my groove back into scrapbooking. I had put away the tape runner and distress ink for a few months while planning the wedding. I got my honeymoon in California photos back and got in the groove to scrapbook them. This week so far I have done 11 pages in the album.

I find myself torn sometimes when scrapbooking...do I just "do it" and put my photos in the album and not worry about how many embellishments I use, if the page is worthy of being modelled in a sb magazine or if it is as good as so and so's album....? Do I sit there and agonize and ask myself what is missing from the page, how can I add in that new cute embellishment I got? Will other people like my scrapbook page?

Ughh....its not easy being a scrapbooker sometimes. So I said to myself "Self....you just need to get this album done and don't worry about all the ribbons and snaps." So that is what I did. I started scrapping. And after the 11 pages were done and I went through them all, I thought "hey, they look pretty darn good" Sure they don't all look like the elaborate pages I have been known to pour hours of work into but they aren't plain. They're good and I am happy. As Queen Martha would say "It's a good thing"
