Change is good donkey...

Famous words of an...ogre....wait, I'm not a donkey....oh never mind!

The point of my message is that on Monday I begin working taking over a new position at work. This position needs a LOT of help and of course, I am the person to tackle it...of course *insert rolling eyes*....I guess it will be a huge undertaking and I am sure I can make the program roll again. Just have to dust off the dial up computer out there and put up a few photos and make it home. It's just a temporary position -- I hope it only lasts a couple months. I will be working outside of my office and into a satallite office where there will be no one but ME - I kinda like that! One good thing is that Dan's office is just around the corner so we will be able to carpool and take lunches together....awwww now isn't that sweet?

Yesterday was interesting, had three young kids - probably in grade 8 - hanging out in our back lane. They were really cool and I say that in the most sarcastic way....they were sitting on the neighbours shed and smoking...smoking definately made them look 14 instead of 13

....the kicker was when they decided to urinate on our fence and spit on it. I went out there three times and told them to politely leave but they were quite cocky and found it amusing to act like tough macho kids around me...now that part is kind of freaky. When I was 13 and an adult told me to do anything or better yet to stop doing something, you better believe I stopped. My kiddos were around and they thought nothing about those kids was cool. Mariah had a friend over who goes to a different school so I asked her friend if she knew who the boys were. Luckily she knew two of them so I went back outside and said "Hey Derrick and Bradley, I know who you are so if anything happens to my fence you better believe you will be the first people I look up" They then I think told me to F Off....so I called the cops. Of course the issue is a non-emergency nuisance call so the police took their sweet ass time finishing their donuts and coffee before coming over. The boys were long gone by then. Dan came home from golfing and wished he had been there - of course he had all sorts of scenerios running through his head how he would have confronted the situation....men!!

As the world turns...yawn.....is it 5:00 yet?? gosh....
